"The Power Of 'Matching' Your Communications

My
last article on what I call "energetic
mismatches" was one of the most enthusiastically
received articles I've ever written. I got a
ton of requests to do a "sequel,"
so here it is!

The
secret of matching all communications is absolutely
one of the most potent "weapons" in
my arsenal of success.
Everything
I've created in my business, personal life and
relationships has been accelerated or turbo-charged
by my habit of making sure all my communications
are matched.
First,
a quick review. Whenever you communicate with
another person, whether it's face to face, on
the phone, through audio or video recording,
or the written word, there are two channels
of communication being sent and received simultaneously.
The
first is what you experience with your physical
senses - what you see and hear. I call this
"surface communication."
The
second is what you experience with your non-physical
senses, what you'd call intuition, sixth sense,
gut instinct, etc. I call this "energetic
communication."
Whether
you admit it or not, or consciously track it
or not, you're receiving lots of information
through both channels all the time. You don't
need to "be psychic" or "gifted"
to do this. We all do it. It's our natural state.
Based
on that fact, there are 2 things you must realize:
-
If the information flowing through both channels
"matches," that is, they're saying
the same thing, the communication is effective
and has tremendous positive impact. If there's
a mismatch, however, meaning the surface communication
says one thing, and the energetic communication
says something else, there will be problems.
People
will sense the mismatch and on some level,
it'll bother them or raise a red flag about
you or your communication.

The
energetic component is much more powerful
in determining the ultimate effectiveness
of communication. We all think the surface
communication is what counts, but it's really
the energetic communication that has the real
power.
When
the messages you send through the surface and
energetic channels matches, people sense it
and it automatically makes them more comfortable
with you. It doesn't guarantee they'll do what
you want them to do, but they'll have more trust
in you and receptivity to you and that's very
important in relationships, business and personal.
When
the messages you send through the surface and
energetic channels don't match, people sense
the mismatch and it sets off alarm bells within
them. The alarm bell may sound quiet to them,
just a whisper, or it may seem like a loud scream
(depending on the person's sensitivity to energy
and the power of the person creating the mismatch),
but they will sense it and it always holds the
potential to have major negative or limiting
impact.
If
a person senses a mismatch from you and it makes
them uncomfortable, they may pull away from
you (whatever that looks like in your personal
or business life). They might not even realize
they're pulling away, or know why they're doing
it, but they'll do it nonetheless.
I'm
sure you've had experiences with someone you
knew had screaming mismatches in their communications
(personal or business), and yet they still seemed
to be successful in something they did despite
that fact. In such cases, one of two things
is usually going on:
-
The
people drawn into the "mismatcher's"
orbit and with whom the mismatcher was successful
with, actually resonates with the mismatched
energy (often because they do the same thing)
and it was therefore "positive"
or "neutral" to them and didn't
appear to have negative or limiting impact.

Even
if #1 above happens, however, my belief, and
experience, is that somewhere in the brains
of the people interacting with mismatchers,
they store a record that they've been mismatched
by the mismatcher, and if they continue to
sense mismatches, even if they're quiet or
unconscious to them, the cumulative effect
of all the mismatches ultimately makes them
turn away for good.
In
personal life, that may mean a relationship
ending, someone reaching out to you less frequently,
arguments, etc. In business it may mean lost
sales, customer service challenges, loyalty
erosion, etc.
Everyone
is free to make their own choices in life and
different people have different definitions
of "integrity."
For
myself, I choose to insist on matching all my
communications.
I
live my life from the belief that everything
I'm thinking and feeling is being consciously
heard loud and clear by everyone I'm interacting
with, and I make adjustments as needed based
on that belief.
I'll
share one last tidbit with you now and then
we'll end for this issue. It's my feeling, and
experience, that the volume on the energetic
side of life is rising higher and higher at
this point in history. It's my belief that mismatches
that used to be experienced as gentle whispers
are now being experienced as louder voices and
one day in the not too distant future, they'll
be experienced as screams.
This
is the sort of dynamic that led me to make the
mismatch discovery in the first place. For some
reason, I was born with the volume turned up
on my energetic communication and I had to learn
to live with the effects of that at a very young
age.
When
I was a kid and even through my twenties, it
was real confusing for me. But then I "got
it" and I started making sure all my communications
were matched. I saw the power of it and I've
never turned back!
I
therefore give you my strongest recommendation
to get your act together on this now and develop
the skill and habit of matching ALL your communications
so as the volume continues to rise on our energetic
communications, your effectiveness and success
grows by leaps and bounds, instead of crashes
and burns.

and structures you're taught growing up.

discovered it doesn't work to simply play The
Money Game better. You've got to actually bust
loose from The Money Game entirely and start
playing a new game with a new set of rules and
regulations. That's when life transforms and
gets really exciting!
